If there is one thing I could live in for the entire summer this year, it would be this LFD. Little Floral Dress. Lol…yep, I just [embarrassingly] made that one up. This dress is so light that I am practically naked! Who could ask for better? During the day time, I love to pair them with my little black Asos heels and at night, some bad-ass black pointed toe boots! Yes: I can be a little, sweet girl but also a tough badass in this dress!

♪ listening to Childish Gambino – Redbone ♪
You can see my new feature right above ^^ that I’ve been adding in my last few blog posts. I believe music is a huge part of creating the mood for my blog, and that’s what I listen to when I edit my pictures/write my blog post. Though you’ve probably heard this one as it’s pretty popular, definitely go listen to Redbone by Childish Gambino. I don’t know why but I can’t stop groooooving from it! Lol.
I love Brandy Melville more than anything, sorry not sorry. I’m a 19 year old girl, what do you expect from me?? Just kidding…but these shorts are insane. They are a nice light linen material and totally bring a beachy and nautical feel. I need to desperately go back to a Brandy Melville and buy some more clothes! I guess it’s true: I’m a Brandy girl at heart.
Anyway, I’ve been noticing something a bit more sentimental this week. I have really been watching and trying to understand the feelings behind simply miserable people: people who are drowning in society’s expectations and standards of money, appearance, decisions, and personality. I can write numerous blog posts on why I didn’t go to college and why I didn’t follow the path, but it’s amazing how many people are completely ignorant to the most simple mantra: listen to your heart. 99% of the people I have observed this week haven’t listened to their heart on big life decisions (it’s obvious). They are listening to society…and their parents.
If there’s one thing I learned in life, it’s to not listen to your parents. Haha, there’s some exceptions to this rule but let me put this simply: go your own way.
