50 (Mostly Free) Things To Do In NYC

Skirt: American Apparel (similar) | Top: Forever 21 | Shoes: Adidas

As an NJ/NYC native, I’ve accumulated my favorite places and things to do in New York City! While some are mostly free, some also might be a bit costly. Nonetheless, if you’re in NYC and you don’t know what to do and you want a real taste of New York, let this guide give you the inspo! What’s your favorite thing to do in NYC if you’ve already been there or what would you look forward to most in NYC if you haven’t been there already?

  1. Relax in Central Park on the rocks or the grass.

Ahh, yes! This is a fabulous list you pulled together here and you even mentioned quite a few things that I still must do! For instance, I still can’t believe I haven’t been to by Chloe considering I eat mostly vegan, and the Union Square farmer’s market is one I also must get to. I love that you incorporated activities such as driving out to the Hampton’s which I feel some often forget is party of NY hehe. I don’t think I saw this on your list (correct me if I’m wrong!), but visiting the arch at Washington Square is also a great thing to do – and another way to see how much the French influenced the Americans πŸ˜‰ Love these pictures and I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day!

I’m a native New Yorker, but recently moved to CT and I’ll say that I miss how I was able to just get up and go all day without spending much money. My mother and I would around Manhattan and Brooklyn for hours aimlessly and would always stumble upon some interesting event or setup. Thanks for sharing these suggestions because there are some things I haven’t done yet!

Would’ve loved to have read this before the last time I went to New York! Although one of my favourite things to do there is always just to walk around the different areas and explore on foot.
