September 12th, 2017 | 7 Comments

Ah, the denim skirt. Kissing summer goodbye and fall hello: the perfect transitional wardrobe piece. Here is my 5 favorite ways to style a denim skirt.

01. Knotted Plain T-Shirt (reformation)

02. Bandeau (urban outfitters)

03. Flannel (f21)

04. Long Sleeve Blouse (vintage)

05. Bodysuit (f21)

My denim skirt is from Forever 21.

I love feeling like a little French girl with my basket bag and chic lace blouse even though in reality, I’m so from New Jersey. No, not Jersey Shore-like, but a-cheeseburger-preferred-over-a-croissant-and-baguette-like. I’m just glad I get to express another side of me through my clothing (not exactly through what I eat haha!).

I scored this adorable vintage blouse at the thrift shop years ago and I just recently put it to work after it’s been sitting in my closet forever. Does that happen to you guys, too? Not realizing you love a piece of clothing so much after it’s been sitting in the back of your closet for a few years? #Storyofmylife.

I’m enjoying these final moments of hot hot 80 degree summer weather before the f word rolls in…you know–fall. I bought the famous AA white tennis skirt but I really didn’t know how to style it that matched my personal style. But I finally found this old super pale pink cami and thought it looked ultra feminine. I love it and I feel like a ballerina in it for some reason? Maybe it’s the bun?

As we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall, here is my playlist and fave music picks for the upcoming season…I hope you have Spotify 🙂
